BA Australian Beer Cup

    OK Pat tried this a couple of years ago. I thought it would be interesting to revisit this knock out competition and see where we stand in 2013. From memory (and Pat will correct me with this) Little Creatures PA beat Murrays Wild Thing in the Final.

    OK rules as follows;

    - Vote for your four favourite Australian or New Zealand beers in order.
    - Beer # 1 gets four ranking points, beer # 2 gets two ranking points and so on.
    - I will add up the total ranking points for each beer to come up with a top 16 beers that will enter the knock out competition.
    - Beer ranked #1 will face off against beer ranked 16, beer ranked #2 will face off against beer ranked 15 and so on, until we reach the grand final.
    - Beer must have been bottled. If it has been released on tap only then you must demonstrate that it has been available in at least three Australian states.
    - The beer has to be on this website. Sorry no Thorogoods :slight_frown:
    - Collaborations with International brewers are allowed.
    - If its a one off release then it must have been available since Jan 2010 (The last Championship).
    - The criteria for assessing your favourite beers is up to you. It could be taste or value for money or whatever,

    Votes must be in by Sunday 10th Feb at 12:00 Midnight EST

    4. Ferals rye IPA - pretty sure it was in existence when feral kegs were going around the country, taphouse takeover etc?

    (wish they had kept separate the fantapants imperial red, and the rye IPA... Instead of combining them)
