I had to search here to find the 2013 schedule. If you go to gooseisland.com you still get the 2012 schedule. How the hell did you find the 2013 schedule?

Moved up a month from last year. Wonder if new distribution states has anything to do with that? Shipping beer to Guam?

Ken tweeted about tasting the Summertime from Baldwinsville yesterday, I didn't even put it together that that means it will be released soon. Sheesh.

It's possible that it's not done yet and they didn't want to publish a half-finished document (of course, why make it live at all? that's what an intranet is for!).

Yeah, no idea why this is on a production server and not some kind of staging area. I understand testing environment differences between intranet and internet-facing servers, but you'd think it'd be somewhere not so easily guessed.

Maybe it's just how their CMS works.

I saw a picture on their Twitter feed that had the mashbill for Bourbon County and it was dated 2/5/13... Maybe end of 2013?...

Also not on the calendar is Sofie Paradisi -- which, judging from the pictures they were posting on Twitter, they made a fair amount of. Enough to warrant a new name, rather than just stick with Grapefruit Sofie. One of the other F&W beers, Dark Traveler (a Munich Dunkel), is also absent.

All of which is to say, we should take the schedule -- not so much when we will see these beers, but what beers we can expect at all -- with a huge grain of salt.

Damn. That is not good. I was already disappointed this year to notice that it seemed there was only one wave of Harvest to hit the shelves. Everything I picked up had August bottle dates, so there was nothing fresher available after the original batch - at least at the spots I normally frequent.

I also read or deduced that it was no longer made in Chicago. But, full disclosure, I may be completely imagining that.

I saw the keg approval on Beerpulse earlier this week but haven't seen any bottle label approvals. Either way, I need wine barrel and citrus fruit aged Sofie to be in my life this summer.

sofie is already (partially) aged in wine barrels. but grapefruit sofie sounds awesome.

This is the same beer they had at the mini golf event last summer. It was delish. Can't wait to have it again.

I had it at the 2012 Brewpub Shoot-out and gushed to Inigo Montoya, sorry, John Lafler, about it. He seemed really pleased with how it came out back then, as he should be!
