BA Abraxas - What's it take?

I offered up a BBomb, Oaked Seizon Bretta, Cascade Cerise Nouveau and Cascade Noyeaux for one and got a bottle pretty fast. Taking it to our PNW Imperial Stout tasting tomorrow. Overpay, you betcha, but I loved the standard version and wanted to make sure I got one in time for the tasting.

I got there 2 minutes to late the day of the release and just left and went back to work. I posted an ISO in our local StL forum with what I thought was a lot of good shit. All I got was crickets. I had thought maybe somebody would hook a local up. Nada

 

The BA Mint Chocolate and BA Coffee are next! More pandemonium!!!!!

 

Not saying Black Note is better, but I will personally enjoy 6 intimate drinking sessions with a Black Note rather than one session with BA Abraxas. Just sayin. It blew me away at FoBAB, but sometimes you just have to call a spade a spade.

The ones that make it to store shelves aren't but the brewery will have the BA versions. Fosho

 

Like BA Abraxas, they are using Rittenhouse Rye barrels

I locked some down before the hype train started boarding (after having it at FoBAB).....used two 4 packs of Black Note to pull in 2 bottles.
