100% barrel-aged fleur comes with rs membership. i assume 25% fleur is being distributed soon.

edit: as pointed out below, 100% ba fleur is optional to buy with membership. anyway, the name is fleur.

you are correct. i started lumping prepaid and option-to-buy beers together.

4 calling birds comes with membership (regular and ba). 100% fleur is option-to-buy.

    thanks for the correction.

It was the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend last year. Hoping for the same weekend again this year, at the same location.

With the solera method in play, I fully expect each year to get better and better. That little bit of residual Papier is going to taste amazing in a few more years...

Any particular reasoning behind the name? GI just retired their Fleur and I can't imagine this beer having any similar qualities to that one considering the Bruery's last there Anniversary beers.

Each Bruery Anniversary beer is named after the traditional anniversary gift. When you've been married four years, you give flowers (fleur). Three is leather (cuir), two is cotton (cotton), one is paper (papier).

Ahhhhh, thank you for enlightening me. I hope they continue with the old ale's, but I don't know really think I'd enjoy a floral old ale.

They use the same recipe each year for all the beers. When they made Coton, they added all they brewed to some of the remaing Papier. Cuir was brewed and added to the Coton/Papier combination. Fleur keeps the same pattern. It's called the solera method.
