Is 3 Floyds Brew Pub worth it?

Man, has this place had its ups and downs, food and draft beer-wise. It has been some of my best meals and some of my worst. It's been worth the 40 minute drive, and totally inferior to local options. I won't bore anyone with specifics. I will say that as of RIGHT NOW we're in GOOD TIMES mode. Alpha King on cask is my idea of heaven. Blot Out The Sun is a very good, somewhat hoppy NOT CLOYINGLY SWEET stout. The food menu is kicking ass, too. The Squash soup and the brisket sammich with red pepper and horseradish... Stellar. Does this help you, person thinking about going there 2 weeks ago? DeLoreans are getting cheaper.

 

What kind of beer are you thinking of? Certainly not BMC but I imagine it should be something that isn't distributed in Indiana, like NG?

I was able to get down there by 7:15pm on a Tuesday and was seated immediately.

I've seen kids there every time I've gone. Saw a gaggle of them at a front table this past weekend.

As of 12:30 PM this afternoon, the answer is, unfortunately, no.

 

The three times I've been there, all on weekdays, it was busy but not crowded. IDK about weekends.
