Todd does describe the stamp as "PENTAGRAM 2013 wax stamp". Sounds like there will be a different one for each year.

I was told the other night by the owner of a local liquor store that they'll start rolling out next week and some will have it on Monday, others won't get it until later in the week. He said he expects it by Thursday.

I'm not naming the store because I'm trying to protect my supply, but because I don't want to put words in anyone's mouth without their permission.

 

And let's try to spread the Pentagram love around as much as possible, not just into the hands of the few.

 

Sorry but I had to laugh at this, especially the part about "Protect my Supply" which you haven't even bought yet. Don't worry BA peeps I will be reporting every sighting of Pentagram next week. Everyone who wants a bottle will get one, even after the hoarders are through "Protecting their supply!"

Haha. Since I'm pretty new around these parts, I didn't want to come across like "I know when and where it's gonna be but I'm not telling!"

 

It's 14,000 bottles. It will be everywhere. It will be on tap at many places. No need to panic and leave work at the first moment you see it posted on twitter, no need to run over old ladies or knock over pregnant women just to be the third person to buy at trendy store x because Podunk Liquor will have it. Let's just all take a breath and relax.

So assuming complete distribution of the 14,000 bottles, 233 stores could be each given 5 cases. On that note, does anyone know the number of stores that carry Surly (that would get stuff like Smoke, Anniversary beers, etc? I would be willing to bet its under 233, but really have no idea. At any rate, the moral is that I wouldn't worry too much about it.

If you volunteer do you get anything for your time?? ....perhaps a free Surly or two?

 

For the folks who volunteer for tours, I believe they get a 4pack as they leave. I ass|u|me that dippers are offered the same-and only year rounds four packs, no seasonals.

 

It depends. I got 2 four packs and a shirt when I dipped.
