Stone Espresso IRS

    Yes, my favorite style beer by a damn good brewery. I really can't get enough of coffee/capp stouts this year, I may have a problem. That said, I tried a Long Trail Coffee stout the other night and it was HIGHLY disappointing. Maybe its because I was too (insert word I wrote in caps and minus the LY). I bought two bc they were so cheap so I'll see if that had anything to do with it when I open the next one.

    Thats funny because I've never tasted anise and I absolutely hate that stuff. The notes do say those are the [aromas]

    I picked up a bottle of the 2011 version on a whim and it is still sitting in the cellar. Not a fan of anise either, but figured I could give it a try at some point in time.
    This year's odd year release sounds soooooo much better, gonna have to pick up a couple of bottles this time.

    Ugh, this makes me wet in my pants. I will be stocking up for sure. Anyone have an idea of what coffee beans they will be using?
