So... the next question is how does Surly select volunteers?

Based on how metal you are...on a scale of 0 to 666

I'm fairly certain that you need to participate in several "Surly Gives a Damn" projects before you will ever be invited to volunteer at the brewery.

Pentagram will be at my store on Thursday. Red lion liquors in Burnsville.

Edit: it's all mine, back rubs will be required on site for purchase

So far I win with my avatar?

If I can get ahold of a Pentagram I will be sure to drink it before the Soilwork (Swedish melo/death band that I NEVER thought I would see live) concert in March.

    The release or the beer?

Release was expectedly crowded. Pentagram was pretty tasty.

Sorry, but I'm pretty sure it's mostly about your beard, but thanks for playing...

3 hours and kicked a keg, sounds about right for a new beer release by Sulry .

I heard nova's in Hudson was getting the majority of the pentagram shipped directly to them... Everyone should start their search in Wisconsin.

Unless you're looking to get cases and cases of it, this seems a little extreme. 15K is a lot of bottles!
I think we should all just take a deep breath and relax, there will be plenty for everyone!

Most shops are probably getting distribution later in the week. That being said, I hope it works out for you, too!

I helped kick those kegs. Damn I love pentagram. Its tied for my favorite American sour (La Roja being the other).

This is a freaking amazing beer. Thank god its an annual release now!

It was my first time at Butcher and the Boar and I was very impressed. I only had the Pentagram Brat and (lots of) Pentagram and both blew me away. Hopefully they do more release parties there. I love their patio tent.

I thought it was funny how many people went for Darkness at the Pentagram release party. That got about as much buzz from the random people I talked to.

The release was just one reason, had a rough drinking weekend, needed a day to recover.
