No, I just put it on my wants. I think I've only posted one ISO in the past several months because I've been spending all of my money and time packing boxes for other kindly BA's such as yourself. In other words, my wants are currently at the mercy of others, I haven't been able to actively search them out myself in a long while.

Even though Chris told me to look for this, I forgot. Luckily he reminded me literally minutes after the box was repacked and minutes before being dropped off and headed to CA.

Thanks again Chris! It will be going in the pool room ASAP.

So as mentoned, Brad surprised me. Below is the haul thanks to him... So stoked to try Rye on Rye! but dude, we said nothing large and in charge and just some locals. I mean I guess technically everything you sent me was a local.... But I am still mad at you! Looks like I need to pick up something a bit more limited. You will pay for this!!!

These beauties arrived from SirWilliam while I was on vacation. You guys are relentless. The Westy was completely unnecessary (as were all of the beers) but very much appreciated. I can't wait to get into all of the others. Thanks a lot and now I have your address

first of all.... not defended for long!

Secondly... This thread has the makings of being a lengthy one... and an expensive one.

Side note... I am relatively new to the game obviously, so my wife isn't used to this whole process. You guys would have cracked up hearing me try to explain to her why I was trading beers with strangers, and why some beer is so expensive and all of the other details. It was pretty amazing. When it was all said and done I just laughed, and said "Well it is better than being addicted to drugs or something". She agreed, and we left it at that haha.

my GF's reaction is... WHY the hell are strangers sending you boxes? and why beer? dont you have anything better to do with your time? I changed my web page to pintrest, hand her my computer and she was happy and havent heard complaints since, except... she wants a bigger apartment so that she gets a craft room to make up for the space my beer collection taking up

Lol, luckily my wife is as much as a beer nerd as I am and she happens to sell beer for a living . Although I still have to listen to her complain how I spend all our money on beer. Of course she doesn't complain when she's drinking them.

You're right, I have a feeling this won't be cheap "defending" my porch, unsuccessfully.

Lol, I've had a trading partner and his friend stay the night at my house while they were traveling through TX. I hadn't even talked to him prior to him showing up. We tore through my cellar and had a great time. I have another offer (pending) for a trading partner and his buddy to come drink my pride and joy, a BA DL.

I've definitely invited BA's to crash at my place when passing through town, even if I've never met them before. Sometimes it is a tough sell on my fiancee, but she usually relents. Gotta love BA Couchsurfing.

side note... I know who I am calling next time I am in Texas!

You're more then welcome to stay here. Play some pool, throw some darts, watch football, fire up the smoker, tear apart my cellar, get DRUNK, etc. Ya know, the usual. We have a guest room just for that purpose. Well that and so I don't have to share a closet with my wife . My wife is also pretty cool about being a DD which is always nice for bar hopping on occasion.
