My wife and I shared a bottle of this. It just tasted like a normal porter or maybe a milk stout to me. I liked it, but I literally got zero coffee/cappuccino notes from it.

Yeah, it does drink way thinner than a typical stout and the coffee has fallen off a big deal since November. I still can taste a bit coffee, kind of like a mocha cappuccino but not over powering at all. I just love the value, $4.99 a bomber where something like 3beans is $3.50 12oz ($3.99 at store who jack up their singles). So if you want the caffeine/booze buzz, this is a cheap date.

Fresh, the wine has subdued the sour a bit. Tasting great.

Picked up a 40 of this just for kicks. Pretty rough. Was OK when it was super ice cold 20 minutes ago, now the last few sips are a struggle.

Probably have a SNPA and then call it a night.

Just felt like a porter night, even if it doesn't really go with cedar plank-smoked wild Alaskan red salmon and stuffed crabs.

Great beer, indeed. I could really go for one of those right about now.

Finally picked up the first sixer of the year, bottled on 1/30. Some pretty delicious stuff. Good to see this is all over this forum it's drinking pretty well right now.

    Cheers!

Snapped this pic seconds after pour. So glad this is only bottle one and I have 23 left. This is an amazing BA BW!
