Took my inspiration seriously and organized the cellar! No pics yet, but check it out:

Just a start- about 8 months worth. Can't wait to try some of these in a year or so!

I would feel bad if I had such a big fridge like this with all beer. My fiance too often is like I have friends over and what can we drink and I'm all like "......nothingggg". I do try to have an assortment of easy to find stuff but sometimes it's just my special cellared goodies and it makes me feel like a jerk.

Any particular reason you are cellaring the Rogue Voodoos?

    Afraid to drink them?
Too expensive to just throw it out?
    Bought two too many?

Doesn't look like much but it's the coldest part of my house. Stays in the mid 50s during winter and right around 60 during summer.

Trust me, nothing about this makes me feel bad in anyway.

I have the same fridge, but had to reinforce the shelves because all the bombers made them bend a bit. You use a temperature controller?

I noticed one of my shelves bowing a bit too. What did you reinforce your shelves with?

I do use a temperature controller, with the probe ran into a bottle of water with a hole drilled through the cap and set to 53 degrees.

I think this setup is pretty kickass. It's both my cellar and my beer fridge. The only thing I don't keep in here are growlers when I have them.

I have the same thing - a Johnson controller with a probe in a water bottle. An awesome setup except I wish the light still worked when I open the door...

I used a few different things - some leftover laminated wood shelves, a piece of plastic, etc. Whatever I had lying around the garage. I would think that a thin, strong sheet of wood or plastic would do fine. You just have to watch out for reinforcing with something too thick or else bottles won't fit.

I'm a huge fan of the setup too - tons of capacity, relatively quiet, low-power with the controller, no moisture problems.

and no I am not cellaring all these beers just so happens my sump pump/cellar is in a blocked basement area with no windows and stays a cool 45 degrees year round thus dont have to worry about pissing off the wife by taking over the fridge with beer. I just keep it all in here and pull and drink daily.

You appear to spend similar amounts on FFF as me. Nice to know I'm not the only one.

Agreed, it does look scary. But if you put out a "beer-crumb" trail to the basement you could probably catch a lot of fellow BAs.
