    I drive 7 hours to get this too. Although I agree that fresh is best and after a 7 hour drive it tastes best. I was done with IPA's and DIPA's and this beer wowed me and brought me back to the style. To each his own though. Oh, and you suck and are a bitch if you don't like it:wink:

    What a special night, drank Kentucky Breakfast Stout for the first time. It was amazing. They had a little bit at HopCat tonight for Grand Rapids Beer Week. It was vintage 2010 KBS. Here's a couple pictures.

    This attitude is what makes the US the US today. I like and appreciate a new perspective. Don't let the mainstream beat you down. Otherwise, Inbev would prevail and this site would be no more.

    It took courage and calmness not to pop a chubby but when I noticed a tap handle change and saw a golden goose being switched on at the brewpub I was at, needless to say a surprise tapping of BCBS is always welcomed!!

    Briefly before I finish this beer and start working on the review: This really is a great DIPA, deserving of most of the hype its gotten on this site. It's got the floral/citrusy bitterness I expect from a DIPA but the malt backbone really shines through unlike other hop bombs I've tried, Sucks and Hopslam included. The biggest thing I love about Pliny is that it is incredibly drinkable.
