Has anyone seen Palate Wrecker in bottles?

I've found it in some various bars in Austin, but have yet to find any bottles. I would love to find some!

I figured there may be some sort of TABC label issue

I don't think TX is getting bottles. The Saucer in SA has a keg that they're saving for one of their Thursday night rare tappings.

It's an interesting IPA, very dank and "green tasting"... Zero fruit flavor comes through.

I would have to disagree. Very tropical nose, lots of grapefruit.

Hello. I agree with mattisloco, it is very dank. The name is not very far off the mark, hops smack you around a bit. Good stuff. The Common Table in Dallas has a keg.

I once did a side by side of Palate Wrecker v. Pliny on draft and while P.W. is a great beer, it couldn't beat Pliny. That said, it is a quality IPA from a great brewery that I love and I am excited to see it in TX.

Got to agree with the tropical flavors. Hopslam meets Hoptimum. Best of both worlds imo.

Update: I have just been told that Palate Wrecker will be tapped at the Saucer after they float their Stone 15th keg (which is still drinking great, btw). So drink up, San Antone!

I found it in bottles in Franklin Tennessee last Monday April 16th 2012. I don't know if the bottle I got was bad or what because I love strong dark beers and beers that are very hoppy. But I can honestly say hthis was the first beer I have ever poured out after the first sip

I am going to assume your bottle was bad, since the reviews on both sites seem to proclaim the beer is very good, if not great. When I had it on tap I gave it an 4.23 rating (or A- rating) on this site. My opinion in certainly not worth any more than anyone else's, but it seems to go fairly well with a lot of other people's on both sites.

Enjoying one now while I wait for the 6 o'clock new tapping. Loving this brew!

The better assumption is that no one beer pleases everyone.

Bottles shipping now. Originally Texas was getting 22oz bottles. Brewery shipped 4-packs.
