Awesome. Little known fact: they used to be in the state in limited quantities in the mid-late 00s. I was seeing old bombers at Zipps until at least 2010. Anyone else remember this (or know why they left)?

Haha. I work at Wirtz and they didn't tell us this yet and I hear it here first. Maybe they're going to announce it at our meeting tomorrow morning...

    :grinning: NICE!!!

I just got a Victory at Sea from a trading partner today.
I'm going to enjoy it that much better, now that I know more is coming soon.
I was contemplating whether to save it or not - gonna drink it now & celebrate!

The hype train has left the station. Climb aboard all MN BAs for an 18 month ride until you inevitably become infatuated with another brewery. Commence the catcalls from everyone for me being a "boob" towards a beer but 2 months ago everyone was lamenting the loss of Avery because of the Chisago acquisition. Now everyone gladly throws them under the bus for another "new" brewery despite the fact this brewery already once entered this market and left. Commense the "well they weren't ready and didn't have the right package at the time" speech. Spare us all. They shouldn't have entered the market then. Look I'm all for great beers but while Ballast>Avery now, 6 months from now Brewery X>Ballast. So let them enter the market but I'm sticking to my Summit, Steel Toe, Town Hall, & Surly because they are ready for this market and will not be pulling out anytime soon.

Don't worry you haven't ruined my day. 6 pack of Schells in the fridge. I'll be ok:wink:. Everything must balance out. Some people celebrate great beers entering this market I just prefer to drink the great stuff being made here already. I'm not right & you're not wrong. Just different opinions. Good news is we're all enjoying some good beers.

It's ok, I love Avery but look forward to some new beer that has a lot of good mojo behind it. We've got great breweries that will be staples in the region and lots that will come and go so we might as well enjoy them all as much as we can. Cheers!

Somewhat insightful, but mostly ignorant. It's not one or the other, you can have it both ways. Heck, you could even drink Size 7 and Sculpin back to back!

I'm going to go ahead and be happy that I can have Sculpin whenever i want. Hopefully this doesn't make me a total douchebag.
