Has anyone heard any more about this? Saw it was supposed to be released on 3/1, but haven't heard anything about it. Any info about this being in CO would be great, thanks!
Maybe I'm going crazy, but I thought I remember hearing it was dumped due to QA issues and will not be released.
Seems like Coloroad is a little slow on the Boulevard arrivals. Last couple stuff (like Rye on Rye) seems to have hit our shelves a bit later than other markets. But never heard anything about this Coffee Ale, consider me intrigued.

Whoa, the description sounds a lot like the chocolate ale. I wonder if it's the same grain bill; I liked the chocolate ale when I had it a couple years ago, but it was pretty weird last year. I hope this stuff is good; I'll definitely try it.
Hey guys, I just came across this thread and wanted to offer some updates. We're looking at a mid-March release date for Coffee Ale. This beer was definitely not dumped due to QA/QC issues and is tasting great. I can also confirm that the recipe is completely different than the base beer we brewed for Chocolate Ale.
Are we talking about a light-colored coffee beer in six-packs? It seems to me you could have called it a Coffee Stout if it was one. That would be rad. I like coffee stouts, but I've had a lot of pale coffee beers that have been outstanding, and it's underrepresented.
It's definitely not "light" in color and will be available in 750ml bottles and 1/6 bbl kegs. It is most definitely not a stout.
Cool, good to know. I'm stoked to see commercial releases of non-stout coffee beer. FYI to all interested, I found this: http://www.kansascity.com/2013/02/11/4061080/kansas-citys-boulevard-and-roasterie.html
