I try to play nice but you my friend, is outrageously ignorent. This post proves that you have no clue what the hell is going on.

Your last statement is maybe the worst. Jeppe can just open a brewery and bang, prices drop. And at the same time you earlier stated that a brewery in your area are sellling growlers for $15 with only their own mark-up as oppose to 5 mark-ups, no labelling, bottling, shipping etc. More per oz than my $16-18 six-pack. Why, because they have a huge investment and need to make the money, I dont. Its a small brewery, they probably invested their whole life savings and they should be able to make those money. Wat do you think that same growler would come out at if going through the same distribution as mine. If I tell you in the figures of $80 I'm probably not too far off, but I guess thats too complex for you to understand.

You are not a businessman, good for you, because you would fail with a bang. But pretending you are makes you look dumb and ignorent, so for your own sake, say no more and let the adults have their own conversation.

Are you man enough to answer me this: Why do you think your homeboy Jean, or any other same size brewery for that matter, charges $15 for a 64oz growler with no other mark-up than their own? More than the outrageously overpriced 6-pack of mine that you so eagerly talk about? Because they cut out 3 middlemen?

If you really think your points make any sense, you need to call someone professionel, cause you my friend live in a different world from the rest of us.

Yes thanks. And lets get back to advocate beer. Is that what this site is about?

Guys, if you find my beers too expensive, dont buy them. I never bought that Maserati I dreamt off. It was too expensive. Simple fact.

Good night, I'm out. Some people just wont listen and keep believing their own stories. Too bad, cause I actually came here to honestly tell people who are enjoying (or the opposite) my beers, why they often are what I agree, too espensive.

But I have had enough. BA lost another active brewer, that took time to interact. Jason and specially Todd are very good friends of mine. Thats why I spend my time here and tried to explain to you why things are how they are. I feel sorry that their hard work to build this site more and more seem to have turned into a shit-show for a bunch of haters that gets a kick out of putting down on the succesfull and on those who actually work hard to do something for the beer world. Me today, someone else tomorrow. I think most succesful brewers have been dragged through the mud here, and thats sad.

Thanks for listing to me and see you somewhere else.

I know Evil Twin has been at the receiving end of a ton of negative comments lately. I personally support Evil Twin. I can't say that I have tried every beer from them that is available in my area. I also admit that if their beer was a bit cheaper, I would have tried more of their beers. BUT, I will never make Evil Twin out to be "evil". Yes, I know it's in the name, but the craft beer community is not supposed to make such virulent comments about a brewer within the craft beer movement. I am interested to see the positive things that fellow BAers have to say about someone who is trying to present new and interesting beers to the market. I can start off by reiterating that Lil' B is one of the best beers that I've had this year. Period.

I had an Evil Twin brew called "The Cowboy" which was a smoked pilsner and it was excellent! I highly recommend it. Smoky and tasty.

So I've seen Evil Twin a lot on the shelves when I'm down in PA or when I'm up in MA. It looks really cool, but it's so much money I never go for it. Is it honestly worth the money, because if it is I definitely will get it, but if it's not I don't want to waste my money.

Depends. I've only had the Yin, Yang and Freudian Slip. The Yang (IPA) was better than the Yin (Stout) IMO and the Freudian Slip was a barleywine and not a very good one. However, I haven't had Imperial Biscotti Break but it's supposed to be amazing. If you see that, buy two: one for you and one to send me to trade for some Cigar City :grinning:

if your budget is tight, no , it's prob. not worth it.

If your budget is tight, you should really stick to buying cases, though. Anything less than a 12pk prob. isn't a good deal.

I thought Imperial Biscotti Break was fucking excellent and would buy it again with no hesitation. Thought Soft Dookie was good, but eh. Haven't had anything else.

I'll echo everyone's love for Imperial Biscotti Break..if you see it, grab it. I also really enjoyed the Spanish version of Even More Jesus, but it is more expensive than IBB (per ounce).

Imperial Biscotti Break was damn good and when I had the chance to load up on Soft Dookie for cheap I did and it was worth it. Otherwise, I think its debatable whether ET is worth it. Some of their 12oz singles run $12-14 which is pricey, and they aren't exactly limited.

I skip everything but the Imperial Biscotti Break. It's worth it I guess.

I stocked up on a couple of bottles, it's good enough to break out once in a while.
