    Have my friend's bachelor party this weekend, and I know I'm probably going to be drinking for hours straight so I decided to pick up a case of Founders All Day IPA. At 4.7 abv I think I can throw quite a few back and maintain my composure... To an extend. So my question is what beer do you all like to drink when you know you are in it for the long haul.

    Stones Levitation is perfect for me, 4.4% I think and It's got some hops to help.

    I'm good w/ anything below 9%... so sucks, joe mama's milk, left hand nitro....
    most of the stuff I drink is beastly strong (>14%), so my list is short...

    I can't do long hauls. Even one or two typical session beers makes me sleepy. I either drink or don't...

    Drink some water and Gatorade, and take breaks. Eat something hearty before, and snack in between.

    For my bro's bachelor party, he and I were the only craft guys, and as best man, I had final say. I picked up a keg of Allagash White and Dale's Pale Ale, easy to drink and flavorful but not to the point that they would deter the non craft attendees.

    Ale Asylum Hopalicious. Although not as sessionable as other mentioned beers, it's damn good and by no means huge at 5.8%.

    Sometimes you just gotta bust out the mass produced swill. Not too proud to drain a case o' lite beer in that situation.

    Since highschool, I've been conditioned to drink copious amounts of Yuengling Lager. While it may not be "craft" to all....it's in the blood.

    Normally Bell's Oarsman or Sam Adams' Alpine Spring / Noble Pils. I might add Killian's Irish Stout to the list; its the cheapest stout option I have, and better than I expected.
