    8th Wonder is releasing their first Kegs today, April 8th. They have posted where they will have their beer at starting this Friday... These guys are great, down to Earth people. They are doing great things and I believe they will be one of the better breweries within the next few year. The head brewer, Aaron Corsi, is a fucking genius. These guys will definitely be doing great things. Keep your eye out for their three core beers and every special release they will be coming out with.

    I know, right? It wasn't perfect but I loved the concept and the nose on it was spot on. Hopefully they perfect it and release it soon.

    The Hopston was just plain bad. I don't even know how you call it an IPA. I sure hope their other offerings are better.

    I'd like to support local, but I won't back a product I don't care for. Hopefully they take feedback and improve their product.

    I picked up a growler of Hopston from Growler's. It wasn't memorable but it's a perfectly respectable IPA.

    Didn't even have a hop profile at all.

    Maybe the first keg was bad at Growlers. ???

    I didn't think it was THAT bad. It defintely wasn't that good either. Not a good start. I have high hopes for these guys.

    The Alternate Universe was not bad, very easy to drink. Though it does not come close to Hops & Grains Alt. I really did not enjoy the IPA. Tasted like a bad homebrew. There are way to many mediocre breweries that have started up over the last year plus right now: Fort Bend, Cycler's, Circle, South Austin, New Republic, etc. I have not written off 8th Wonder yet, but not the greatest start so far. I hope they aren't another on the list of mediocre breweries to open.
