I would think most people are strongly apathetic about this. I suppose it might be douchey if you showed up at a brewery absolutely covered in "swag" from either the brewery you were at or another. But overall I can't imagine being offended by some kind of etiquette faux-pas of wardrobe/brewery coordination.

On the concert aspect, if you're a shirt from a previous tour, that's OK to wear. But don't buy the current tour shirt, and put it at the show. As far as brewery gear goes, It doesn't matter. I've got several metric shit-tons of beer t-shirts. It's kind of inevitable that at some point I'll be a certain breweries shirt at the brewery, especially the locals.

Been to 2 myself. You, sir, were in a great minority.
Who cares if the beer is great (or the concert is bangin) nothing else really matters.

I only wear concert t-shirts when I go to breweries and wear brewery t-shirts when I go to concerts. When there is a concert at a brewery I just stay home.

I'm with the "don't wear the band/brewery shirt you're at" crowd!

Also, don't double up on the same logo, whether it's a sporting event or whatever. No need to wear a uniform unless you are part of the team!

While getting a tour of one of my nice little local breweries the brew master decided to wear a Bud-Lite toque. Thought that was pretty funny. Great guy.

Agreed. Plus working for a distributor I have a bunch of polos with brewery logos on them, super lame if you find yourself in one of those. Makes you look like a huge groupie.

There HAS to be a clip from PCU floating around that addresses this. "You're wearing a shirt of the band you're going to see? Don't be that guy"

When I go to a brewery's pub I wear an LSD shirt.

Never hurts to remind 'em of the competition.

I wear FUBU stuff everywhere I go. I have no idea what it means, but sometimes people snicker at me. Or so it seems.

I wore a black Narrgansett trucker snap back cap when I visited the Harpoon brewery a while back and one of the staff pouring samples smiled and said 'Hi Neighbor!' Thought it was pretty cool.

I would wear Surly gear. Never wear clothing with a breweries logo on it while at the brewery. Just the thought of it embarrasses me.

I wear clothes but no pants when I am out in public. Some of my clothes have brewery logos on them, but pants don't so I don't wear them. Sometimes when I am out in public I am at a brewery with no pants. It would be unreasonable to assume that at since I wear clothes have brewery clothing and go to breweries that at some point I would wear pants and would be wearing brewery related clothing to a brewery with pants. I am not one to coordinate my wardrobe to the brewery wear I am going to so it is also likely I would wear a piece of brewery related clothing to the same brewery, but of course with no pants. If that is a problem for some, just be glad I am wearing some clothes.[/quote]
Sorry, I just couldn't help myself. Plus two Sucks.

Just a shirt or hat? Probably would avoid it myself, but not a huge deal.
Shirt/Hat combo? In the words of Ozzie Guillen, "psssh..please."

Side thought...Brewers wearing their own gear, cool. Bands wearing theirs, not so much.
