While you can't get this unless you have a trade coming from Quebec, just had a limited release of Benelux Brewpub in Montreal's Grande Armada Réserve, tasted more Bourbon Whiskey than beer... was very nice..

Backwoods Bastard....almost a bourbon-beer hybrid and one of my faves!

BB Angel's Share should do the trick too.

    Of the ones I've had:

    1. Foothills BBL People's Porter - a shot of straight bourbon dumped into the regular People's Porter
    2. 2009 BCBS - the 2012 bottle I had was smooth and balanced in comparison
    3. 2010 BA Ivan the Terrible - hope you like booze, wow was this ever hot

HM: BA BORIS is like Jack Daniels cut with a stout

Mikkeller Black Buffalo! It was like bourbon aged in stout barrels...or uh, something like that.

I agree with Founders Backwoods Bastard. Something about the flavor of BA Stouts that covers up some of the bourbon flavor for me. There is, of course, a nice hint of bourbon, but the huge myriad of flavors in a BA stout seems to minimalize the bourbon flavor for me. Not as much with the scotch ales. Just my opinion.

I could barely taste the bourbon in BA Dogfather. I actually ended up pouring a bit of Elijah Craig 18 in it.

Black Ops? Tastes like bourbon with a shot of impy stout thrown in.

Drank a bottle of the first release that was almost a year old and it was amazing. So delicious. Would be a whale if it were brewed in Chicago, California, or the East Coast.

Olde Hickory Brewery Seven Devils is by far the most bourbon forward beer I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Being a scotch ale this beer has a lighter malt bill and is much thinner than most bourbon barrel aged beers therefore the bourbon is really up front and in your face. Overall I did not love this beer but the bourbon really stood out in the nose and taste. The bourbon definitely dominates this beer.

Renegade Elevated Wood for sure... also the new Full Sail Bourbon Imperial IPA. I love bourbon though, so not a problem for me!

My buddy and I split a bomber of Full Sail Black Gold that had been cellared for three years and it was like stout with a fresh shot of bourbon tossed in... It was awesome.

I don't know if I'd say it was the most bourbon forward, but New Holland's Dragon Milk is one of the better balanced. I just introduced my SIL & brother to it's boozy goodness.
