    I started by opening my Growler of Ivan The Terrible that I bought back in January. It's drinking fine. Now sipping on a bottle of Westveleteren 12 from 2011. Here's a pic

    first off. I should NOT be posting on this thread so early. That's a big ol' bowl of wrongness right there.

    that being said, I'm consoling myself for not being able to go to the craft beer fest in nassau collesium by drinking a 3 beans. I think my husband thinks it's a chinoto soda :flushed:

    Raiding my cellar, and came up with this guy - a 2011 Uinta labyrinth: First time trying this, and IMO it's the closest thing to FW14. Everything about this beer is top notch - the rich choc malts completely hiding the 13% ABV, nice viscosity, vinous and slightly dry finish...and I could go on and on. Excellent sipper for sure, and at 14 bucks for a 750ml, this is superb value for a (rye) barrel-aged imperial stout. I'm hovering between 4.75-5 on this one.

    I spent the afternoon in just over the border in France. There is a market called Cora and they are having a wine tasting and tent sale. The wife stocked up and I bought a few beers, cheese and bread. Sitting at home now enjoying a Saison and watching the Cuse/Georgetown game.
