Hell or high Watermelon release?

Haha yeah a local bar got one 1/6 keg and it became a year round beer.

 

Can I choose Hell?

 

It's available April through September for those that want to subject themselves to it.

 

I love beer.i love watermelon.i did not like this beer at all.

 

I actually really enjoy this beer. Fruit wheats are not usually something I like, but this is a great beer for hot summer days.

 

I like hell or high watermelon. There. I said it.
So I guess I'm now qualified to go out to lunch with all the voodoo donught guzzlers.

 

btw- expecting to taste beer when you drink hell or high watermelon will set you up for disappointment. I imagine it to be craft zima... just a bubbly beverage of something or another that is watermelony. From that perspective, it's tasty.

 

I like the beer, but 4something % for 9.99 a six just doesn't come close to my price per alc/quality standard.

 

I haven't had this beer but I can say it's on my list of "Top 5 Beers I Have Seen In the Same Place on The Same Shelf of my Favorite Store for Years".

 

It'll be good on draft at the brewpub before a giants game. I'll skip the cans though

 

This was my first 21st Amendment beer to try...almost scared me away from the brewery entirely. And just think, then I would have missed Monk's Blood and Fireside Chat.

 

I'm all for weird ingredients, but can't imagine a natural watermelon beer tasting good. Maybe an artificial watermelon beer would taste good, but probably not.

 

Add me to the small list of those that don't hate it. Perhaps because I went in with such low expectations after hearing reviews. I had a couple cans last year and found it refreshing on a 100 degree day.

Scary stuff. I've yet to try HoHW, but it's been on the bottom of the shelf at the liquor store down the street for over the last year and a half. I want to try it. But only if they'll but it open for singles at a discount.

 

This sounds weird, but hell or high watermelon goes very well with steamed crabs. I have no idea how or why, but it works for some reason.

 

Forget waiting just get a watermelon chew the rind and wash it down with high life.
