I love this brewery. But when the "best brewery" threads come up I don't see them mentioned enough. I would throw their solid line up against most. Just wanted to give some love to the master of the can.

I agree. They had an Oskar Blues tasting at a store near me last week and so I got to try their whole line up basically. Before that I had only had a Ten Fidy (definitely one of the better stouts out there I think) and a Deviant Dales. I thought everything was really good, except for the Mama's Little Yella Pils which was just okay but I'm not really a pilsner fan anyway. I'm trying to take a break from buying beer since I have so much in my house that I need to drink first, but next up on my to buy list is Old Chub. Good stuff.

I would agree that their beers can compete with the best of them, but the prices of their imperial 4-packs take them out of the conversation for "best brewery" for me. G'Knight is one of my favorites but I rarely get it at $3.50ish/can. I feel like the $14-16 4-pack is frequently overlooked "because it's Oskar Blues" and most other brewers would be hated on for this.

Old Chub is $5 on tap at my local bar. It is only $2 on tap during happy hour

True Ten Fidy is expensive, but I'm going more for quality of beer instead of deals. If i was going for a combo of quality and price I would not be able to argue against SN

Tried it tonight for the first time and I liked it. I'm not sophisticated at all. I either like a beer or I don't.

Ten FIDY is their best canned offering in my opinion.

Agreed. I still have 7 out of 8 cans that I bought in WI. It's a shame this isn't distributed in IL! However, having a sister who lives 5 minutes from the brewery in Longmont isn't so bad either!

I wish they'd start canning their Belgo Schmidy.

Gordon/G'Knight has to be one of the most underappreciated beers ever. With offerings like Gubna, FIDY, and Dale's Pale, Gordon gets overlooked for some reason. Probably my favorite Imperial Red.

Ten Fidy is top notch and so is Dale's!

I think I just might have to give Gordon another try.

It's been a few years since I tried it and since then I have developed a huge liking towards hoppier reds. Maybe I'll enjoy it more this time around.
