Trade gone wrong?

I think the issue is that there has been no response at all. It takes thirty seconds, max, to take out the phone and send a text.

 

They really just need to make the trade forum a premium member only portion of the site. I would pay $10/yr to not have to see these threads all the time.

 

I would prefer sick folks do NOT use the extra time to pack my stuff. Just FYI.

 

Where does he live? Maybe somebody knows him or could go check on him?

I would pay a premium as well tired of dead beats getting free beer from noobs and noobs screwing each other this is why i will no longer take part with someone that doesn't have a trade history at least 6+ months old and i will still make them ship 1st from now on.

I can't even count the number of boxes i have sent to noobs no strings attached just send something you think is good or one of your local favorites and am getting kicked around for this? i guess since the whole Damn situation wasn't laid out the way everything is going with this deadbeat i shouldn't of even offered advice. we were all new once and well i see why so many traders won't help or even trade with the noobs......

You know, the least you can do is email and call him before posting a potential bad trader thread. Especially if the guy hasn't logged in since last Wed, then of course he's not going to respond to your BM's.

Threads like these are supposed to be a last resort, but they're starting to pop up way too early these days.

 

I agree with this, but it's not exactly hard to email or text saying "I'm sick right now. I'll pack up the box and ship when I feel better later this week"

 

I was only commenting on my own concerns. The trader in question seems to have terrible communication skills and should be avoided.

Most viruses won't last past 12hrs without a living host, you will be fine as long as its not an IP trade.

 

Science, ha, whatever. We all know that SARS come to the US because some guy in California just HAD to have a China-only bottle of Cantillon.

 

The risk we take as decent human beings trusting strangers...beer karma will make it right in the long run. If you have heady topper I can make that beer karma correction happen much sooner for ya! Hehe...

 

Trade feedback would be nice, it's probably one of the reasons I don't do mail trades on here more often.
