Actually, I think Pontificator was juuuuuuuuuuuuuuust right - I loved it.

I also don't see Hellfighter chillaxing on the shelves like Yule, Pontificator, etc because the BBA version had so much hype behind it.

The 18th is gonna be nuts (and expensive)

Fiancee's Birthday x TX2k13 x Wedding Planning Shit - I'm gonna be a busy, busy man this weekend.......And I live around the bloody corner from Petrol.

I had my first bcbs(2012) this past weekend, and honestly it reminded me of Avery Mephistopheles. Wasn't too impressed. It was good, but not worth the hype when I can go to specs and pick up an Meph right now.

Haha well, obviously the Meph isn't BA, but it has the same booziness that bcbs had, and it overpowered any flavors it had other than the chocolate.

Let the BCBS sit. The booze mellows and turns to bourbon, vanilla, chocolatey goodness.

Alright, one less person to worry about buying up all of the BCBS.

If BCBS is better than BBA Hellfighter, I can't wait to try BCBS. I drank the BBA Hellfighter Saturday night and that stuff is fantastic. One of the most balanced barred aged beers I've had. If I had to pick between a Black Butte XXIV and BBA Hellfighter, it would be the later.

Tried Hop Delusion yesterday and it's really good. Tropical fruit followed by tongue cleaning bitterness. Better than Palate Wrecker and I always get a couple packs of Palate Wrecker. Looking forward to this coming out as a seasonal.
