I just posted this ISO yesterday. Crickets.

My buddy says ppl are home laughing at me. Looking for additional opinions. I'm wondering if it is timing, or am I just dreaming this could get done. I LOVE DL, so it not getting done is cool.

Thanks in advance for the input. Hope you are wearing green. #pinch

    Cheers!

Sounds reasonable to me, aren't the bottle counts pretty similar? IIRC DL was two per person in 2008 as well.

I landed an 08 Dark Lord with a 2011 BT and that seems to be the going rate for CFH, plus you can go to churchills and try it at any time anyway and you can't really say that about Dark Lord

I would say just give it time.

i've had 07-12 dark lord. 08 was the only vintage that ever lived up to the hype.

You should find someone with 3 CFH's then.

CFH wasn't even a brewery release, you just had to go to the bar and buy it. This year I heard people were leaving with plenty, I know CFH costs twice as much but I am confident that dark lord is much more rare. You didn't even have to buy a ticket to an event to get a CFH all you had to do was stand in line. Last year I traded a cfh for a blabaer and I don't think anyone will deny that Dark Lord stands at least on equal footing with blabaer.

Maybe my sarcasm meter is off, but are you saying that DL can land blabaer? If so, FT: DL

DL08 was a good vintage except about 1/4 of the last bottle I had was actually a sludge and not beer. I tried running it through a coffee filter but it was too thick.

Sounds reasonable to me if not even more generous on your side. My buddy and I have an '07 DL but not sure we'll ever trade it...it will probably be consumed soon.
