Enjoying bottle #1 of my first all grain brew! It isn't officially quite ready yet, needs another 4-6 days conditioning, and some cold time in the fridge, but I must say....pretty darn tasty.

I call it: Cops n Donuts, a Coconut Coffee Porter

Yesterday I ate out and drank Ballast Point Calico with Oak chips on cask, Drake's Hopocalypse, and a tall glass of Allagash White. Today, something simple but good.

I'm not sure the name of this particular beverage accurately expresses my personal impression of the quality its contents. Perhaps a more fitting name would be ``Lagunitas Kicks Ass''.

I was able to grab 2 Double Dark Horse Crooked Trees and just poured the 2nd one this is truly a great beer, I love the hidden Booze flavor that hits somewhere in the end of the mouthfeel to the aftertaste, if that makes sense.

Damn Good!! I'd say it does live up to the hype. I was expecting more of a hop blast for a double IPA but the way this beer is crafted ....... WOW !!!!

I'm finally getting to try this one-

Nice aroma- as bright and perfumy as it is earthy, but it works in its own way. And a more delicate palate than you'd think; definitely the 'good' kind of 'interesting'.

Now- off to Netflix, and a Columbo episode that features Jose Ferrer, Jessica Walters and Robbie the Robot!

    Cheers!
