    Is there a demand for a Southeast Michigan tasting group? While accidentally clicking into the Mid-Atlantic regional sub-forum, I noticed the insane tastings they do. I got jealous.

    We have great BAs right here in Southeast Michigan with great beers. Is anyone interested in creating a tasting group to start slaying some whalez (other than our awesome shelf-wales) right here in Metro Detroit? I have some really nice beers I would like to share but I have nobody to share them with.

    Maybe I'm just lonely.

    Seems like everyone is waiting for someone else to do something. Someone needs to bite the bullet and host one. Helps if you know at least some of the people coming and have an understanding wife.

    I'd be into a western Oakland/Livingston county group. Hell, I could probably talk the wife into letting me do something stupid... like hosting one.

    As we have posted in other threads, anyone that wants to host can offer their place and host. As Dave said, if you host it, they will come.

    The southeast Michigan tasting group has some pretty epic tastings but don't always invite a lot of people as that limits what people get to try (i.e. 25ppl for a 22oz bottle sucks).

    ok mike409 and I will offer up a tasting on friday april 6th in livonia michigan. it will be at my mom's house as our house is a little small for a tasting.

    so this will officially be friday april the 6th at 6:30 p.m. please bring just one bottle to share. it should be something not available to people in michigan or a very limited brewery only release. Mike and I will provide lots of stuff to open since this is the year to drink not hoard. also food is welcomed. the house can easily hold 15 comfortably. so post in here if your interested and what you plan to bring! I will provide the location info soon.

    I've done a couple now in Ann Arbor. I'll probably do at least 1 this summer & I know of another person doing one around Warren this summer as well. BM Me if you want to get in on these.
