Bruery 5th Anniversary Release: Bois

The one and only Lone Hill Liquor, and ask for Stan. Be really exact, his inventory is huge; I got the whole christmas series up to 5 golden rings; I paid a grip for partidge in a pear tree but was happy that I got it!

 

A few stores will carry it-- I have built a relationship with some of these guys, and I plan to join there beer club in 2014, so hopefully I can get access into the hoarder club. This is where I can get access to Grey Monday, Black Tuesday and a few other rare beers... First things first for me; need to sign up for the reserve group at the end of 2013! 7 more months!

 

The Bruery has only been around 5 years? damn, they are onto it!

 

I'm excited to mix this with Black Tuesday so I can enjoy some Black Bois. Then I'll take in some White Bois by mixing with White Chocolate.

 

What about Grey Monday and Bois for those of us who like Gray Bois?

Not that hard to believe. I know a few bottle shops with older hard to get bottle, but at eBay or above prices.

 

Lone Hill was selling Partridge at way over retail, around $20... but we weren't complaining. This was a few years ago and etc.

 

So are you saying you know of a place i could walk in right now and with enough bad cash thrown at them obtain a bottle of two turtle doves?

 

I don't keep stock on what each store has. There are stores that keep collector beer and charge premiums is all I am saying.

 

I believe it. Lone Hill and Stan has so much in the back. The trick is to talk to him, visit a few times or just be very specific on what exactly you want. He'll take care of you and yeah, they have a lot of old stuff. Last year I was picking up very old Stone IRS bottles at about twice the price, but hey. Can't complain when it comes to how they'll get you the good stuff.

Bois was finally released yesterday! Went to the Bruery Tasting Room and bought a bottle and had a pour. Would've bought more but I have several more coming through my Preservation memberships. It was very tasty and reminds me of the Fruet. Though I didn't get a full appreciation of it since I had it right after a pour of the '11 Black Tuesday and let's be honest nothing will stand up well to that! Lol
