Too Many Glasses???

    World Market has awesome glasses. I drink almost all beers out of goblets I got from there. That being said, I'm now drinking out of a silver-rimmed Chimay goblet. Hey, it was $2 at the liquor store.

    Teku glasses are great. So are perfect pints, snifters, tulips, lager glasses, weiss glasses, nonics,

    Most of my favorite "fancy" glasses cost around three of four dollars a pop. Oh no!

    Can't tell you the number of Teku and gold rimmed glasses I've broken (not mine) how many were on purpose (after drinking all the beer of course) noone will ever know:grinning:

    I have 470+, keep maybe 50 available for use at any moment . All the rest are in boxes.....
    Lots of logo pints of one form or another..Belgian tulips, chalices , tasters. a few Tekus too
    Gotta have em man

    ha, I have 4. that's right. only 4. 2 nitro tulips, a brooklyn brewery snifter, and a sam adams tulip that my hubby uses for whatever.... (No one may defile my nitro tulips with non-beer liquids) I'm a girl with minimal glassware needs.

    some people love collecting glassware... and features like gold rims are there to make them purty. If it's your hobby, go for it! If it isn't, just leave the many glassware styles to those who collect.

    Random note but of all the styles by different breweries, I find myself using the most common, easily obtainable glass the most. Perfect Pint from SA.

    Well, I have two comments. Well, three comments.
    1. If you understand bird watching, you understand beer glasses.
    2. Glasses break. So sad, but that means I can buy a new one.
    3. I bought a tall Petrus glass in Philly for beer week last year. Fond memories.

    I have about 20 glasses.....to many? I don't think so but my wife thinks so now i have to hide the new glasses I buy!!:slight_frown:

    Anyone buying their glasses is foolish. Go to a tasting. Go to a pint night at a pub. Go visit a craft brewery. You get FREE glasses. Stop buying glasses.
