Is 3F 'St. Valentijn Cuvée' really a distinct beer?

Note sure if this is more a "Cellaring" question or should be somewhere else, but I was surprised to see this as a separate entry: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/2216/81898. My understanding had always been that the St. Valentijn Cuvée was simply the batch of OGV that happened to be bottled on Feb 14th

That has always been my understanding as well. I'm not sure why it has a separate listing on here.

I've had them side by side and I thought they were noticeably different.

Side by side with what? A separate bottling of Oude Geuze Vintage? All of the bottling a are noticeably different, so that wouldn't say too much.

Just a separate bottling, should not be a separate entry.

Not much of a mystery, though. Someone didn't realize this and thought it was a new beer (reasonable looking at the bottle). Report it.

    Either way, it's delicious

It's an exceptional blend but I always thought it was OGV with a secondary name too.

Were these bottles survivors of the thermostat catastrophe? I'm guessing not since the thermostat incident was in 2009, and these were bottled in 2007

At the end of the day, does anything in the Beers database REALLY matter? Probably not.

But, I try to report updates on beers when I notice something that's incorrect because I think it's a useful service to the community, and this was just something that seemed not right to me; but I wanted to see if anyone disagreed with me before I reported it as a duplicate.
