Short's Bourbon Sustenance getting bottled this week.

    The one is a surprise even to me. Around 250 cases will be bottled and I'm going to guess it will be pub only.

    I'm stoked!

    Bourbon Sustenance -- Our spring Schwarzbier (black lager) aged in bourbon barrels for up to 10 months. Rich roasted malt qualities with bold flavors of vanilla, charred oak, and ever a slight nuttiness. The light crisp finish makes this bourbon soaked gem quite sessionable.

    Bottled on Wednesday, available soon after UNLESS it's being released at the same time of Controversius Maximas (4/27). My instinct says this will be pub only distribution. I'll have more info by tomorrow.

    After having Hopstache I truly believe in this and am SO excited to see what they bring in the years to come. Just so many solid releases.

    I opened a 750 of BA Sust, not 22, on friday and it was still solid. I don't remember what year it was from. Anybody?

    That was the 3rd year it was made (10 I'm thinking). If I remember correctly they had some 750's they didn't use from the Imperial Series that they wanted to use up. After that year I think they switched over to 12oz bottles.
