    I guess I'll star this one off. So after coming back from the ER and the doc telling us to keep checking the baby every hour or so to make sure he is conscious. Ill be slowly sipping on this till my wife gets a couple hours of sleep. Here's to Izzy! My lil hell raiser. Did I mention I've been awake since 4am yesterday?

    Wow, all the best man, hope everything turns out great for you and yours.

    About to get my beer breakfast on for another day of being pathetic over my sprained ankle. Reading stuff like this seriously puts that into perspective though. Strength and perseverence!

    Meantime Greenwich Red Ale, brewed for supermarket chain Marks & Spencer in the UK. Solid red ale, obviously not going to set the world on fire, but very flavoursome.

    I normally don't drink on the days I work from home. But on my lunch break today I ran out to get some Heady topper and grazed the curb on my way into the lot. Could hear the air hissing out of the damaged tire as I got out of the car. Having my priorities straight I walked into the store, got some heady and then went about putting on the spare. Back home now and decided to crack something open. No, not heady (that is for a trade), but something I enjoy almost as much.

    Been sipping on this until a few minutes ago. Test brew #16 of a pretty amazing Dutch brewery, Rooie Dop. This one was the base of one of their later commercial releases, the Double Oatmeal Stout. Their website is pretty fun, as they list all their tast batches for future reference:
