    Ahhh... Made in Michigan, and listening to DMB? Totally deserves a like. I need to try some Vivant... can't believe I haven't had any yet.

    One of my all time favorite IIPA's! One of my highest rated reviews and Waaaaaaaaaay better than most highly sought after IIPA's!

    and the DMB is even from a show in MI. :wink: im a little late on the vivant also but ive been happy with it all so far. nothing mind blowing but very solid stuff.

    I hope you're right and the part of this beer I didn't care for is the burnt malt. Something about it was too bitter for my taste.

    Second one I've had (limit at the shop was two). I thought it smelled great and tasted "meh" last time I had it, now I'm thinking it's the other way around. This is a good one.​

    Sipping on this little number, this is the original bottling, circa late 2011 I think. Age has been very good to this bottle. Sweet, syrupy, but still with a little citrus tang. Well worth the wait:

    Last year when I was in my exploratory phase I tried as many Trappist and Belgian beers as I could. Then when I checked the Beers of Fame I noticed I somehow missed this. Holy Fuck! Glad I got the 4 pack and glass.
