New KBS Glassware for those interested

I strongly prefer the old KBS glass, but I'll settle for this one.

 

I totally agree. The more recent pictures in this thread have led me to a more favorable opinion of the new glass, however I can't say that I'm thrilled with it. The classic KBS goblet featured the older KBS bottle label. Wouldn't it have been cool if they took a similar style goblet or a snifter and had the newer KBS label printed on it? That would have been a sharp-looking glass. I think somebody just overthought this one a bit too much and tried to be too clever.

If you know Nate like I do, which is simply recognizing his name on posts in all glassware threads, you'll understand his love for tekus outshines all.

 

I view the teku glas in the same way I view Barry Bonds' home run record: it will stand as the greatest for years, and was almost certainly the product of taking drugs.

Just got to Founders; limit of 4 glasses per person. I grabbed a couple extra for anyone that isn't able to get them. BM me if you would like one. Fair warning, since I've started drinking already, I may not reply to the BM that promptly.

Just bought two which is the current limit. Staff claimed what was left was what was stacked up behind the counter, in which case there were ~8 cases of 12/per left. Hopefully there's another supply that the current staff members in the shop aren't aware of, because if not, they'll be out tonight. They were talking about cutting limit to one glass per customer just now.

 

Going to rip open a KBS in an hour, drink it out of that glass, and completely forget that i drove 400 miles round trip for a beer.

 

I'm with you. I actually think the design is pretty cool but I'm not a chalice guy at all.

 

They also had the Founders script logo snifter and the Bolt Cutter glass available (as well as some interesting looking "tulip shaped" pint glasses).

Best purchase (besides the $2.50 CBS poster) was Weatherdog's clearance I Was At CBS Day shirt. Please make sure to mock him relentlessly should he choose to wear it out in public.

I was in yesterday and was wondering if those cases behind the counter were all they had.
They underestimate the glass geeks.
