    Red Cap was an old (up to the mid 90s I think) Belgian Dark Ale. Officially known as Special 6, it's recognized by it's red cap. They have stopped producing it for MANY years now, along with the Dubbel. I couldn't tell you the year on these but I hear the Red Cap is still drinkable but WAY past it's prime while most Dubbels have completely fallen off. I will admit, the Red Cap is a trophy bottle. My one and only trophy bottle.
