I really hope this is only the first of many posts in this thread... As some of you have probably seen - I have been ISO the 2012 Crooked Stave Cellar Reserve glass for some time. I just think it's hands-down one of the sexiest glasses around (or is it a Fact?). I had a member of this fine community reach out to me and offer to send one asking nothing in return...just "send something in return." I was floored. He then asked if I had a HT Glass, which I said I didn't. This is the box that showed up. I've said over and over that we have a special little forum over here, and this really drives that point home. I really hope that this forum stays this way and doesn't evolve into what a lot of people see in the ISO:FT board. We have an amazing group of people here that really seem to watch out for each other and help out as much as we can when we can. We are even helpful with ISO:FT posts instead of resorting to mocking and ridicule...imagine that? haha I know some people are shy and don't want to be "called out" so I'll leave the sender as "anonymous" until (if) they want to step forward. Just know that you made my day, man. Please post any other random acts of kindness generosity in this thread, because I know there has to be more out there. Cheers everyone!
that's awesome! whoever the other half of that ransaction was... he is a good man. or woman... whatever. A great person! This is definitely an epic community. I lost a challenging game of RPS once and needed to send beer. the recipient found my address, and sent me 8 bottles just for the fun of it to show me a good time. He even knocked out a want. Insane how helpful and willing to spread good beer most people on this thread are. The best part, it seems to be infectuous, and people continue to spread the Beer Karma all overthe country with new friends.
I had a pretty awesome guy in this forum send me my first Teku, asking for nothing in return. I'll let you guess who that was. I kinda feel new to this forum, but definitely not to BA. I remember when this forum never had any posts hardly in it at all, now it is always rockin. I'm a big homebrew guy, but I spend plenty of time over here nowadays, and can definitely feel some comradery and passion in this forum. I dig it for sure.
To be fair, I think you got confused...you two were playing RPS to see who won the right to SEND to the other person. You lost so you weren't supposed to send (but everyone is glad you did). Edit: And this is quickly becoming my favorite corner of BA, cheers!
Damnit you're right! I literally never though of it that way haha. I'm still glad I sent a box anyways, but that adds to the awesomeness that is BA and that LIF! The dude had never even talked to me once and next this you know my door step is hurting! I love BA!

Some guy replied to my request about trading bottlecaps saying that he didn't trade but had a bunch he would just send me, no charge, nothing in exchange. He wouldn't even let me send him $ for shipping. I got 20+ new caps from him. One of them had a slight scratch on the side. I was pissed.
