    From Facebook:

We have a BIG announcement...a second Prime 16 is opening in Orange, CT! The new location is twice the size of the New Haven restaurant and will boast 30 taps of craft beer! Like the Prime 16 - Orange page to stay up to date on construction progress and opening announcements.

That is cool... Orange is a bit farther for me, but when you take into account parking and a larger location, it will be worth the extra drive. Now, we just need them to open a location in hartford county.

This is awesome, but I would love to see more beer-focused bars coming closer to Hartford.

That is a great location and a nice building! Use to go when it was Jacob Marley's frequently. Easy access to 95 and Merritt pkwy and nice parking lot. I will make trip from hamden for 30 taps yeah!

Sooo much better for us FFLD County kids. 20 minutes from work with easy parking, as opposed to the downtown parking mess. Prime 16 always gave me an excuse to visit downtown New Haven, I guess Orange CT will be seeing a lot more of me!

Oh, so like 1 mile or so down the road? That's not bad.

intersection and parking lot aren't good and everything that's been in that location has failed terribly.
I live a few miles away in Milford, and would still strongly consider taking 95 into NH.

with parking lot you either have one or don't. it has one. not huge but has one. the restaurants that have failed before have failed cause they sucked when they opened or in jacob marleys place started sucking as time went on. most were run of the mill american food, not a specialty place like prime that people will travel for. of course IMHO.

I am with you. There is a huge market to tap into in central CT for beer bars. We have Plan B in Glastonbury, Eli's in Middletown and City Steam. There's a void open.

In the literal sense, yes, but I present to you Plan B in West Hartford as evidence to the contrary...

This is great news! I know they will blow Plan B's beer list out of the water!!! Oh and their burgers are way better too!

Like City Steam, Tullycross in Manchester is a brewpub with a few guest taps. They brew tasty beer as well. I agree that we can always use more beer bars and brewpubs in CT, but particularly where I live in central CT.
