I am in Chicago for 2 weeks taking a course at the Siebel Institute. I have never been to Chicago before, so I need some help with recommendations. Mostly interested in bottle shops and bars, but I will have some time to go out to eat, so food ideas are also welcome. Thanks and Cheers!
Don't worry, OP, this is how we welcome every person visiting Chicago! Because we're so friendly here! For late nights I recommend the Humbolt Park neighborhood! Edit: Nm, neighborhood seems to have gone down hill...
Thanks you for the links! I am planning a trip at the end of the month and noticed this thread. I am really looking forward to trying new brews and snagging some bombers to bring home.
You mean you actually found this thread and didn't just start a "Visiting Chicago..." thread? Kudos to you, good sir.
We should get the bros to let us make a sticky thread for each mid-sized to major city in the midwest- to cover places like Madison, Milwaukee, Chicago, Indianapolis, Detroit, etc.. Hell we should have a BA wiki. Crowdsourcing FTW.
