I've been trading beers for almost 5 years now (thanks for your condolences) and I have NEVER been so humbled, shocked, stoked and blown away like I was today. I posted searching for Blend Love a week or so ago, offering up various beers or beers from my cellar. Almost crickets. Out of the blue, "w_klon" messages me asking if I got my bottles. I tell him I have a nibble or two, but nothing really. Aaron proceeds to tell me he'll send down a couple, and a few other beers. If I like the box, send something in return. If not, consider it a gift. Completely unsolicited, and I don't think I've ever even posted to the same thread as him. This was on Monday, April 1, so I ask him if he's playing the cruelest April Fool's joke on me, thinking A) one of my buddies put him up to it or B) He's a sadistic asshole. Turns out C) Seriously the most generous person I've ever been blindsided by! So, not only does he send me TWO bottles of Blend Love, he sends me Sole Composition Blend Edmonds, and two rare sours from The Commons + a tasty looking IPA. Unbelievably stuffed styro 6er. Here's to restoring my faith in the craft beer world, and knowing there are still good people left on this site. Aaron, you'll be getting a loaded box next week. Thank you & Cheers!
