Is Founders coming to Texas?

Is Founders a forbidden topic now? Why is the other thread locked?

 

I think they're starting to crack down on the "everything" threads. Southern Star and JK got locked as well.

 

Yup, it looks like all the "general" thread got locked up. I wonder if a certain someone complained to the Bros about them.

You mean, they locked more threads without telling us why? Color me surprised.

 

I sent Todd a BM. I don't know how to word a thread about a brewery now that won't be closed.

 

I guess we have to start breaking it down to specific brews in specific location. Instead of looking for everything founders we will have to have one thread for every beer they make. KBS Thread, Doom Thread, FBS Thread, FIS Thread. I definitely enjoyed the "everything" threads, but I also kept up with them all the time.

 

I looked on the 2nd page of the SW forum and the Karbach thread isn't locked up. Maybe someone had said something within the thread that has gotten them locked.

I wish there was a sticky within the regional forums that would explain how to post threads, and what will get them locked. Also, if the mods would make a final post within a locked thread explaining why it was locked.

 

They probably just looked at the first page. Still dumb to do it without saying why. You are just inviting people to make the same "mistakes" if you don't provide some clarification or set some ground rules.

I cannot agree with you more. An explanation would be great and it would help prevent repeat problems. As of now we are just left to wonder and guess as to the reason.

I guess we will have to start a thread for each beer we are looking for or where it's at. Loads of clutter.

So wait, whats the general consensus on the thread topics. Are we doing Regional(Houston, Austin Dallas), or specific beer from each brewery?

 

I saw Lutter created a specific regional thread (Austin) so I created a regional (houston) thread. I included the last post from DonD pertaining to the number of Kegs and possible locations.

 

I'm guessing we'll figure it out by trial and error based on what threads get deleted/locked.

 

Ya I saw that, that's why I mentioned it here. Just so we can standardize it. I could careless either way, I just like standardization and uniform. It's hard to depend on information being in one thread, and then find it in another one.
