I picked up a sixer of Kellerweis this evening that has a bottling date of October 23rd, 2012 (2297118:53). What is the shelf life of their Kellerweis?

I would bet it's 12 months but I'm not sure. That beer should still be fine.

You should be okay. It's not a hop forward beer. Obviously fresher the better, but with this type of beer, 6 months seems fine.

I've had one that was over a year old that I had kept in my fridge. It was still tasty. Though, I'm not much of a Hefferweizen drinker, so I guess I wouldn't notice a big difference.

We tend to say that Kellerweis is good for 150 days. So you're a bit out of code. That said, if the beer was refrigerated (should've been) and kept out of the light you should be OK.

Thanks for the info! Is 150 days the standard for the 'core' lineup?

    Yes it is:
150 days= Pale Ale, Torpedo, Kellerweis, Porter, Stout, Ruthless, Summerfest, Tumbler, Celebration, So. Hem, No. Hem, Estate, Hoptimum.
365 days= Bigfoot, Narwhal, Ovila (all could go longer if kept properly)
