When was Chocolate Rain first released? 09 or 10? How many bottles? I ask because I have this yrs release, and would like to build a vert along with my 09-11 of BT. Thankful for any help.
It was last year's Reserve Society "mystery beer". One bottle was given to each RS member (somewhere around 750 people) as part of the annual fee. No bottles of '11 were ever offered for sale. The number of bottle this year is significantly higher (somewhere in the neighborhood of 3500-4000 bottles) so getting an '11 will be much more challenging, but they're out there. Good luck!
2009 was the first draft release of CR at Black Tuesday, but as others have stated, was first bottled in 2011 (or at least released at the beginning of the year, but the same base as 2010 BT) and most recently 2012, which is Chocolate Rain-ified 2011 BT.
