if it was vintage, ie had the older Cuvee des Champions label, then I could see it grabbing some rare-ish bottles

It's harder to find than the regular line-up (Classic/BIO, RdG, Kriek, Bruoscella, etc...) but a little more available than the Lou Pepes, so it should pick up some pretty limited stuff. I'd say you might have a chance landing either of those Alesmith bottles with it. If not, you're pretty close.

I don't expect it to go 1-for-1, but if you'd group it with some of your "bunch of Hill Farmstead," you'd likely get some bites.

I'd be more interested in the HF than the Cantillon honestly if I had a BA Kopi Luwak to trade.

The HF is going to be more valuable to trading for those beers than the St Gilloise.

I put the HF and cantillon up and nobody's biting. I though some people would at least give up a ba speedway for the HF

I have HF citra but it's my favorite that I had up there and I'm drinking it all, haha.

Oh hey another skirt around the very clear ISO:FT rules.

    Love it.

You are trading HF beers that are consistently available at the brewery. I dont think anyone would trade a BA speedway for those 1:1. Maybe all for 1 if they really like HF.

The other thing about CdC is that it's one of the worst Cantillons, along with Bruoscella. Even though it's harder to get than Gueuze/Kriek/Rose I'd say that it could easily trade lower. Whenever I find it on shelves I only buy it so I can throw it in a BIF box/extra it when I see it on someone's wants.

(Perhaps my antipathy is abnormal, however.)

I dont care for the Bruoscella that much but I love the CdC/St-Gilloise - thanks for throwing it in my BIF box

Be my target in a BIF (although I don't actually have any right now).
^Like that guy. Clearly a winning move.

Bruoscella's definitely meh but I love St. Gilloise. Really bright and refreshing geuze (the dry-hopping is a nice touch). Pretty high rating as well.

Yeah that surprised me. I think it tastes like soap. Shrug, to each their own.

i don't get it. the username clearly implies that the elder is very close in quality to the younger and that it "touches" it in the rankings.
