Ya just bottled a little over a week ago at the brewery, Ballistic IPA is out from Oct- March, then Bedlam from April-Sept. Very fitting if you ask me, Bedlam tastes much more summer like and Ballistic is a much fuller IPA that works very well for winter here in WI.

Been absent for a little while. Been celebrating with my wife the birth of our first child (healthy baby boy named Cedric). So, to that, Cheers!

Took off work a little early since it's so damn nice here today. Opened up the windows and sipping on an Avery IPA...

I just had a 2013 Sofie about a week ago and it was a big letdown (well it was still good, just not GREAT) compared to 2012, which I had pretty fresh as well. Any comparison notes on your end?

You got me drooling with that one- one day I hope to have the patience to age those for a few years, but even 8-10 months seems to do wonders for it.

I started off with the train wreck known as Buffalo Bills Blueberry Oatmeal Stout. Awful stuff. I am making my way through the bargain bin so I am following that up with Lost Coast Winterbraun. Not a bad one, but not KBS. My mouth is stinging with the stench of sour beer :slight_frown:

There is less orange and more mustiness that I can only attribute to the wine barrel. The biggest difference though is the mouthfeel. Really like champagne, which really brought together the dry notes and the initial tart punch. I had a mandarin orange to eat afterward and it also tasted great. Think I might have to break into something dark and roasted.

So twas I. This was the return of Reba imo.

Edit: I am having a midday Dynamo by Metropolitan. I'm gonna try and purchase a few more lagers. I am wholly unfamiliar with the different styles.
