In the years of my Craft drinking I was generally drinking Strong NON IPA style beers. So I more often then not had Bombers and 750 ml aging. Now though I'm much more into having 12oz bottles in the fridge for those random times I want a beer, But regular IPA's tend to be to mellow in flavor for me. I always have Sucks on hand now.

But what other good DIPA sixers are there? Besides the right out obvious.

There aren't many out there. You already ended the thread with Sucks (please dear god make the sixers year 'round)

Six packs? That kind of narrows it down. I'm going to say Hopslam.

Six packs does narrow it down, but I'll vote for Victory Hop Wallop.

Hopslam for DIPA, but Sculpin if you include IPA.

I second Maximus. Particularly that you're in Cali like myself. Torpedo and sculpin but both aren't really doubles. If you always got Sucks on hand then that's all you really need.

Hopslam's it. The rest of are either 4-packs or bombers. I'm disregarding Sucks, just doesn't hold a candle to the Slam.

I fucking love that beer- fucking love it! I'm not sure my brain processes it as a DIPA, though- more of a strong ale. It's a far cry from Ruination (4-packs, alas), that's for sure. But, what the hell, if that's how it is classified then I'll give it a big thumbs up.

On a much more subtle end, very fresh ST 2XIPA is also a real treat.

I had Steelhead by Mad River recently, and I'd classify it as good. So there's that.

Maximus is the beer that got me into hops. Its still a favorite. Hell lagunitas as a whole is a favorite.

New Belgium Rampant is in 6 packs, I think the 85 overall rating given on here is very appropriate. Some find it repulsive, I think its a good - not great beer for an awesome price. I do prefer Torpedo.

Hmmm Never had rampant ....And embarrassingly enough Torpedo. Which is odd considering how close to chico I am, so there is no excuse for me not having any Sierra Nevada.

Great call with Torpedo. My current favorite, like most everyone else, is Sucks

Okay, while Sucks pretty much kills everything in the aforementioned field, I'd like to throw out a mention to...

I'd buy this FAR more frequently if it didn't fall off so quick.
