Thinks Bell's is Vastly Overrated?

I do, hate to say it. 2H Ale is good but very inconsistent. HopSlam is another over-hyped / under-whelming beer. Oberon is a beer you'd think ABI makes and sells, not good at all.

I know many of you beer people love it, but I don't see it. I'm a huge fan of Founders among other Midwest breweries, just not Bells. I'm glad Founders continues to excel and beat Bell's on many of the common offerings...(centennial IPA way better than 2Hearted; FBS way better than Kalamazoo stout; etc)

Carry on with your drinking evening, just wanted to share this epiphany.

Are you sure about your opinion because the title of this thread makes me wonder?

All craft beers are overrated and we are the perpetrators.

If you're finding Two Hearted inconsistent, it might be age. Check to make sure you're not getting old bottles.

Seems like at one point, the guys from Founders even said that Two Hearted was a superior beer to Centennial.

I just drank the last beer of my Hopslam case and that beer was better than any hoppy beer I've had in the past few months. I'd rather drink a Hopslam over any Lagunitas beer and I love their beers. Oberon may not be the best, but it's a decent spring beer(it's an 87, so you're in the minority of saying it's not a good beer).

Two Hearted is probably the most consistent IPA I've ever seen.

    Nope.

    Underrated, in my opinion.

I've been drinking Oberon for longer than most of you. If it were released today but Joe the Plumber brewery it would be an 80 tops.

Comparing FBS and Kalamazoo Stout doesn't really make much sense. I'd understand Java Stout, but not Kalamazoo Stout.

There's a ton of breweries that I think are overrated, but Bell's isn't one of them.. they have some clunkers, but who doesn't?

Disagree, Bells is awesome. Black Note is incredible, Third Coast Old Ale is awesome, Hopslam is a world class DIPA, expedition stout/Java Stout/ double cream stout are all really good beers.

It is interesting that 3 out of the 4 beers you mentioned happen to be 3 of my least favorite Bells beers, maybe you are just trying the wrong ones.

Why would you keep drinking a beer that you self describe as "not good at all"?

You're the same guy that thought a bottle of year old Apocalypse WOW!, I mean Apocalypse Cow was the best thing ever. And now you're telling me that pretty much all of Bell's beers suck. Yeah about that........................

Centennial isn't even in the same league as two hearted. But to each his own, everyone can't like the same stuff. In my opinion, Bell's is better than Founders. If you don't like Bell's, don't waste your money, maybe a bottle of black note will actually make it's way into my hands.
