Okay on to a big one.

2005 De Struise Pannepot Grand Reserva

How does this still have carbonation? This beer is hard to describe. Almost wine tasting. Lots of big citrusy fruits, some lingering toasted flavors. Huge white wine nose. Probably has nothing to do with the 2 years in wine barrels and 10 mths in calvados. What a monster. Glad I have a couple bottles left.

Boneyard's Suge Knight from a growler tonight. Solid, and quite drinkable for 14%.

I have started to get lots of call backs so i am stoked. have 12 years of retail experience, 5 of which was grocery and 2 as a sales rep for pepsi. got a call today for an interview at the local craft brewery for a sales rep position. pretty fricking excited. got a couple good references from people in important positions around town in the industry. really really really looking forward to 2pm on monday!
    cheers!!

Started up weak, ended up awesome. Dusty bottle of Hermitage single hop simcoe, Mother's Milf & Freestate Iron Man (taps). I expected more out of Iron Man, Milf was one dementional, although I'm not a fan of the beers that they brew, I expected so much more from this. Went to another bar, drank Kentucky Breakfast Stout from tap while some random firey redhead grinded her booty against me.

I downed a Victory at Sea in honor of Layne Staley, who died 11 years ago today.

Thought I would try a local brew for a change. The nose was great but the flavour was poor at best :slight_frown:

If I could find this locally @ $5.99, I'd buy cases.
Easily the best baltic porter I've ever had. Shames many imperial stouts.

Best Growler I own now and not a bit of "metallic" taste IMO

Got promoted this past week so decided to see what I could find on the bottle list at Brouwer's in Seattle. This one was tasting great.

I wouldn't say it was bad, just not as good as I was hoping. A little thinner than I like for a stout, and I felt like the "Java" flavor didn't stand out. Drinkable none the less, but I like their Expedition stout better.
