White chocolate value

    $27. I think that's what I payed for mine when it was allotted last year. Oh, and when they release it again this year, it'll probably again be $27. They did though jack Chocolate Rain up $10 this year, so then again, I could be low-balling it...

    I've had a hard time valuing this as a trade too. The trades I've gotten strong value is when the BA's wife loves this beer and wants it. I think this is a fantastic beer for dudes and chicks. It should be somewhere between a melange 3 and Black Tuesday. Keep in mind that it was RS only and many people under ordered because they did not get to try it first. At $30 a bottle, I can understand.

    A lot of people over ordered too (raises hand), expecting something closer to a barleywine than the super sweet dessert beer that it is. They opened up the unsold allocations back to the society, and I'd imagine most got sold on that second round...

    As for trading "value", if you're willing to go over $4$ given the high cost of the bottle, it should land you most anything off a shelf, and a few of the more high-volume limited releases.

    I traded for it at $4$ with limited release stuff (BASC+), tried it at a tasting, didn't like it and traded it away at over $4$ for off the shelf PA beers that I can't get in NC.
