Boulevard Love Child #2

It definately wasn't a quick seller around here, but I liked it a lot. It lingered for month or so at a couple of grocery stores. Cheers!

I'm not looking to trade for one, but this was a very good sour beer. If it was on the shelf I'd snatch it up.

 

Like Mike said, it was around here for a bit. I suspect it had a lot to do with the $20.00 price tag. Not worth it in my opinion, though I still have one.

 

Yeah, I second everything. Its a very good deal. I cant believe it hung around anywhere. The price is a little steep but well worth it IMO

 

It would have been around longer if I hadn't bought 3 cases, but sadly I am down to 2, so if anyone is FT I have a bunch of stouts I am trying to get out of the cellar. I really like this beer.

 

Did you find it at one of the Sahara Marts in Bloomington, IN? I think I saw it there the other day but passed on it

 

That's funny. For those who don't think Chicago is a cut-throat, back-stabbing, truck-chasing hell hole when it comes to retail releases, and think we just buy cases of whatever we want and bitch to up the trade value, this beer was a backroom special everywhere I called, one per person, and I struck out on finding any.

 

at least your state got some, sucks you struck out. our boulevard rep made the decision to not even bring any in because the allotment was too small and they didn't want to piss anyone off, and thus they pissed everyone off.

 

Love Child 2 was awesome. I think it's getting better too. I bought a few and am down to my last one.

 

This thread makes me thirsty. I'm throwing up an ISO.

Didn't Love Child come out a little late last year? I remember it hitting Indiana right around when Saison-Brett was available. Hopefully I can pick up some Love Child #3 next month when I'm at Sour Wild Funk Fest in Indy.

 

I walked into a store last week in Indy and found a few on the shelf. Bought two. Had one this weekend and realized I should have bought more. Real tasty. Also found a few four packs of BCBS at a store around the corner from my hotel. Very nice surprise.
